Sneakers are appropriate for every dress code.
Black tie? Sneakers. Job Interview? Sneakers. Just ask Anna Wintor. Actually, don’t ask her because she wears an Apple watch with a formal dress so she can’t be trusted. ANYWAY. I wear sneakers every day of my life. They give you the ability to both look cool and run really fast if you need to. They're comfortable. They go with sweatpants. Clearly, I love sneakers. Here are my current faves.
The classics.
These are the kind of sneakers that you leave by your door because you'll probably wear them tonight, tomorrow, and every day after that. (I couldn't find my exact New Balance sneakers so I linked something similar.)
Fashion, baby.
If these sneakers could read, they'd be reading Vogue. Right along with Anna Wintour and her apple watch (see beginning of article).
A wearable Oreo x 2.
The Nike ones are hard to find so they can get expensive but there are plenty of other color options that are more affordable. And of course, a pair of New Balance sneakers. The ultimate grandpa shoe (and I don't mean that in a bad way).
The running shoe.
These saved my life during NYC marathon prep. If you're a runner, GET THESE. I don't mean to yell but you really should.
