I really thought I’d be into dressing the bump this time round. I had so many sources of inspo - most notably HRH Queen Rihanna. I’d planned to be loud and proud, flashing my belly in cute crops and cargos until my baby was crowning. Alas, my dreams were short-lived. Turns out my hips doubled in size, and none of my low-waisted pants fit me after about four months. I couldn’t bear the thought of throwing away money every time I needed another inch, so I relented and have been living in stretchy dresses and elastic-waisted bottoms. I’m still trying to put together cute looks (don’t give up on me yet), but find myself yearning to fill my cart with all the gorgeous non-preg fashion that keeps getting served to me online. Guess the algorithm hasn’t figured out that my fashion girlie era is on pause. Until I can pop out this kid and restart, I’ll keep building my imaginary closet filled with all of this.

Starting with summer…

Reformation Raye Mid Rise Jean Shorts: Finally ready to embrace longer shorts. These ones have a vintage feel which I love. I'm also into these.

Skims Signature Swim Scoop Neck Swimsuit: I can’t wear a one-piece right now cause I look like a potato but if I could I’d buy this in all the colors.

Christopher Esber Draped Maxi Dress: I’ve had this in my cart since I found out I was pregnant. Prob just going to buy it and pray it fits one day. Cute for summer, or with a leather jacket for when it cools down.

Reformation Andy Oversized Shirt: Everyone needs a crisp white button down. I prefer slightly oversized. I’m sure I could squeeze into this but it wouldn’t look the same. Sigh

Alexandre Birman Clarita Bow-Embellished Suede Platform Heels:  If I could manage a heel I’d wear these all day. I actually wore them in different colors at Cannes and they were comfortable af. Also 30% off. Look at me, finding you sale items!
